Hello everybody! 

My name is Rowan Dunn and I am curently 22, I have been obsessed with all things Metalworking, Machining, Welding, and Engineering for most of my life. I am currently attending "Middle Tennessee State University" persuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I have been homeschooled since 3rd grade and that gave me the flexibility to persue my passion. I got my first lathe at 13 and I was hooked, I taught myself how to operate it and make parts becasue I enjoyed it so much. I have always wanted to own my own business so I have been collecting machinery and the knowledge to use it for almost 7 years now. I got my first job at 17 working for a local engineering firm that designed mechanical components of the appliance industry like latches, switches, pumps, and many other mechanical components. At that company I was exposed to CAD and recieved 3 years of training in Solidworks which I have done nothing but build on since. I was an Engineering Technician and designed/built test fixtures. I made test fixtures to verify that our components stacked up agains the competition as well as quality control fixtures still used today by multi billion dollar companies. After I stopped working there I worked part time for a local welding shop for 18 months doing all manor of repair work. Recently I have been a shop manager for a startup engineering company and have been persuing growing my business. I may be young but I have been obsessed with this industry and trade for almost a decade and have worked in it for over 5 years.
